Mine came with the garage opener and I sold it. Love that it's magnetic but hate no local storage. The cam is nice & clear but I can't do subscription base.

If you can live with the inconvenience of dealing with 2 apps, a $20 cam from a 4 letter company can do everything this one does - also without a fee for video storage.

Only downside of the company you are talking about is the privacy. They revised their original privacy notice and not for the better.

It's meant to be used inside the garage ie Amazon Prime delivery or for security.

was interested since they are identical to the amazon cloud sunsetted key cams i have, but once realized that chamberlain is mandating a subscription for post live viewing, ill have to pass. one thing to tolerate multiple video recording platforms in a house, totally unreasonable to have to pay multiple subscription plans for each

the myq has a section for cameras that can be triggered and wyze isnt supported there

Lol subscriptions for a camera and no local storage? You couldn't pay me $50 to install this.

I'll stick with Eufy and Wyze for similar money, no subscriptions, AI recognition, local storage. Obviously on a VLAN and not pointed at anything sensitive cos their security sucks.
