I already have my q Wi-Fi garage door. Can I just add this as an addon? easy to install?

It has a magnetic base - depending on your opener, it can just be stuck upside-down to the bottom of the opener. It needs power so hopefully the outlet your opener is plugged into is nearby.

Why would you want a myQ camera? myQ for the garage door opener functionality is infamous for being unavailable frequently. And they push hard for subscriptions by selling the opener hardware for cheap and not having a subscription and then springing on a subscription to those who already had it.

Why not go with any of the proven camera solutions?

I actually use the eufy 360 camera bc i can turn the camera around to see into my 3rd section. i have a 3 car garage just incase i need to look. I mounted it under my garage opener using 3M extreme double sided tape and it works amazing, i had 110 degree temps in the garage and low as 30s and the tape still holds strong after 4 years
