I bought one probably about 3 months ago. I really have no complaints, I don't have anything to compare it to because this is my first garage camera, but it's nice to be able to visually check that it's closed

They charge a subscription fee to use any of the video saving features, but I don't need any of that

I have the standalone smart openers, not the camera but the App mostly works. I never got the camera because the reviews about connection quality were low.I Bought a 25$ wyze camera and pointed at my 3 garage doors and its just easier to use that app. It also had basic motion detection and Alexa announces it, something this camera can't do (No alexa integration)

Chamberlain that owns myQ are famously anti-customer and patent trolls. Look up how customers are forced to buy a ratGDO just to use their garage door opener with a smart home platform.

Or you can use Wyze, which is better, cheaper, and integrated with both Alexa and Google.
