Can you partition this so one partition automatically opens when you attach by usb-c and the other by usb-a?
Total guess on my part, but I would assume there has to be some kind of software on the drive itself in order to allow for that functionality. And i sincerely doubt you will find that on a device this price.

You should be able to. Here is a link that might help with necessary software. Check out the Multiboot section under pt 2. https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how...usb-stick/

Keep in mind, you may need to adjust the boot sequence on your computer. Hope that helps!

I have used Yumi for quite a while but I also have used UNetbootin, as well as a few others that I cant remember off the top of my head. Some of these programs even offer links for the iOS's so you don't have to and adds them to your key drive. Handy if you are out in the field and just want to carry 1 instead of 5 key drives,

Problem is when you are running off a key drive it might be a bit sluggish. Possibly a USB SSD of some type would be better tasked for the Job?

I have used them, but I relegated all my old, smaller, key drives to a junk bowl. It must be a quart of 8gb,16,gb,but mostly 32gb. I cant believe how many I have acquired over the years and actually on a couple died in my life that I can remember.

When I need to run a installer I make a fresh one using say the Microsoft media creator (might as well get the latest for that fresh install with all the updated drivers and updates anyway!) .. When done, return to the bowl. Anything smaller than 64gb is in that bowl. You could be surprised how far a 64 can go. A copy of Win 11+10 and Most of the recovery ISO's could fit on a 32gb.. You would be surprised how often you need to up date the ISO though too..

Yeah. I'd be terrified of losing my data on a flash drive...
