Is this a good seed for redoing my backyard? First time home owner here, so no clue about landscaping. But I do intend on redoing our lawn entirely this spring.
Am I missing it on the website or does this item not once say what variety of grass seed it is
I have never seen a bag of grass seed without a breakdown of the grass variety on it before. I did see this review that also makes me skeptical of purchasing. "Website doesn't show the seed listing. package arrived and 35.25% is RYEGRASS and only 5% is"WILDHORSE KENTUCKY BLUEGRASS and 7% SURVIVOR CHEWINGS FESCUE??? All in all only 46% seed and less than 12% long term grass I would like to have in my yard."

Thanks!
If you're looking to redo the entire yard this isn't for you. If you're looking to fill in some bare patches on an already mixed type grass this may work.

Just looked at this in store. More than half the seed was ANNUAL ryegrass, with a smaller mix of perennial rye and fescue, and then a negligible amount of ky bluegrass. I passed. Apologies for not taking a picture of the label.

Nah northern just means cooler temp grass but doesn't really say anything about the actual grass type. Could be clover for all we know :p
