From a supposedly T-Mobile employee on Reddit, here is the latest update (5/1/2023) on Autopay discount:
Source:
https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/...ange_date/
The new autopay changes requiring a debit card or bank account to receive the discount goes into effect on May 18th.
EDIT: May 18th is for new and existing customers just enrolling in autopay
May 20th customers enrolled in autopay without debit card/back account/T-Mobile money will receive text messages over the next several months depending on bill cycle. They will receive a text message 30 days before their autopay discount is removed. Then a 15 day reminder, and again 3 days before. So the date for existing customers enrolled in autopay will vary from account to account.
Most reloadable cards are eligible for the autopay discount while non-reloadable are not and cannot be used for autopay.
Will update this post with more information as I get it.

The rep said he opted me out
I tried going for the 25 credit but said there was no such thing
Hopefully he was truthful about opting me out. I have another account today and I think an uncle of mine is on magenta 55
Everything went downhill after Legere left.
the rep pushed the go5g rate plan
told him no.
asked about the $25 credit and he said it didn't exist but in the end applied it
I received a letter today from Tmobile about my complaint and it said something about a 3rd party leaking information and that my plan was changed.
I believe I received this letter because I did a complaint with the bbb or fcc, I forget which one.
Anyone else get one ?
