I have the gas only Westinghouse version of this. Make sure you drain the carb bowl if your not going to use it for more than a month. Cleaning the carb was a pain.
Light duty for sport use. Not for emergency backup. Rated watts: 1800 watts gasoline but only 1600 rated watts on propane. 80 cc engine.
Compared to 2200 watt inverters like igen2500: I have purchased and set up dozens of igen2500's ( 2200 running watts ) from the $400 deals for my friends. Importantly it has enough surge capacity to start pumps or an 15k btu air conditioner. We have lengthy outages in the mountains with great frequency. Can't say if or when they will go on sale again but 2200 watt inverters are still widely available for $420. Better ones have gasoline fuel consumption of 0.2 gph or less at 25% load.
Dual fuel? Sure, it's great but imo a complete waste of money in a hand carry inverter generator. One gallon of gasoline will run these all day. The power is downgraded on LP. LP is too clumsy for a highly portable inverter.
For the same money the Dual Fuel transfer switch ready 120/240 volt wgen5300DFv or similar conventional can heat and pump water, run appliances and charge your battery power inverter for sensitive electronics. The extra power to run space heaters can be a life saver.
The simplicity long life and high reliability make a small 240 volt conventional hard to beat as an emergency back-up generator especially in cold or hot regions.
Dual fuel igen4500 ( 3700 claimed running watts on gasoline ). This is a luxury item. It is whisper quiet, light, easy to transport and runs 18 hours on one tank of gasoline.

Sensible. Easy. Twist the small flow bowl drain screw and you're done. Running the engine with the engine with the tap turned off does not empty the float bowl. Adding a fuel stabilizer is not an acceptable alternative for storage.
To ensure that the gen will always start with 1/2 pull the first time after months of storage I first run the fuel tank dry or siphon. Then I open the float bowl drain. This drains the fuel from the fuel line as well. To prevent the tank from rusting I dry the tank in the sun or use a small blower through the gas filler. A swish of alcohol removes the fumes which you may need to do to return to the store or to ship.
Draining engine oil: Capacity is one third of a quart in a small hand carry. Lay the gen on its side with the dipstick removed. A small wire type table is perfect for the job. Refill with fresh oil when done. Offroad motorcycle air cooled semi synthetic with API SG rating is the best oil for these after break-in. It has a better additive package that isn't allowed in on-road vehicles with catalytic converters.

Dang...
Not sure if there's a mistake in the SD listing or if the price has gone up
