Also I would strongly recommend to get Sony srs xb43 instead. Definitely louder and sound so much fuller than its little brother srs xb33.

How about SRS XG300 at $119 refurbished https://secondipity.com/sony-srs-...y-speaker/, does it have better sound quality and battery?
To me it was bit of disappointment. It definitely got slimmer and more portable than its predecessor xg500 but sound quality is just ok. Doesnt get as loud and especially bass is not as deep as xg500. Battery life got improved but again xg500's battery life is not bad and you can extend it if you listen to it at lower volume (considering xg300 sound much weaker than xg500). Time to time xg500 goes on sale for $149 at same website, Secondipity. (Often times you will see it on Amazon too, Secondipity also list some of their items on amazon)
