Updates are gonna be non-existent. That's a lot of money for no long term support.

The Lenovo for videos, iPad for games and general use. I have the iPad as well (older gen, but with the same display as the 9th gen), and while the display is decent, it can't compare to any OLED display I have seen so far.

Also, the 16:10 aspect ratio of the Lenovo displaywill work better for videos than the 4:3 aspect ratio of the iPad display, but I prefer the 4:3 ratio for everything besides videos (browsing web, editing photos, etc.).

Yes, this is better than the 4GB version for the minimal price increase. Because of how Android OS is designed now, it actually performs way smoother with higher Ram and you will actually notice that in a 6GB version compared to 4GB.
This tablet is pretty powerful and the SOC is somewhere between a SD 870 and SD 888+, closer to the later and for this price, I don't think any Tablets, costing iven $100 more, come close to this.

I bought this during the BF sale for $285(CB made the total about $253). I was very excited to receive it but unfortunately I ended up not liking it and gave it to a family member. Battery drains fast, Android OS on a tablet feels inferior to iPadOS(subjective of course as I am very used to an iPad) and the the tablet size is a bit wide to comfortably grab compared to my iPad Pro 9.7 1st gen. Screen and audio quality are very good though!

Android OS > Apple iOS by a million miles.

Precision Pen 3 is no available on Lenovo shop, I'm disappointed. Would be nice to order both together.

I feel you. However, but bluetooth headphones/speakers have been the standard for a while. They're not expensive. I grabbed 4 JBLs higher quality sets for $100 at Wal-Mart via slickdeals. I think jacks should always be included but that's what companies do. We can't change it..go with the flow.
Among other issues, Bluetooth audio has a lot of latency. This is simply the way the standards work. I'm pretty sure that the delay is at least a quarter of a second, if not more.

Qualcomm tries to fix this with their Aptx low latency tech. But it's proprietary. Meaning, both the headphones and the device have to include the tech in them in order for it to work. When both devices do support it, it brings the latency down to around 40 ms. Not amazing. But definitely serviceable.

Videos can compensate for the delay by simply playing the audio and video out of sync. But games and live streams don't have that luxury.

I think most people are willing to sacrifice quality for convenience. But things like out of sync audio cross the line to where it often break apart the experience.

No excuse for not having a headphone jack. And no, I'm not getting over it.
Buy a small adapter for a couple bucks.

Get one that hangs on your key ring for convenience.

So tempted.

The only tablets that interested me have been the Samsung S series, but they're never been affordable with specs/storage I want, even a couple of generations old.

This has all the specs, and an OLED screen.

Is there anything else equivalent?
Bought a Galaxy Tab S3 about 5 years ago. Now the piece of junk stutters on YouTube videos. I suspect it has an issue with certain codecs and overheating because it doesn't always do it immediately. It also seems to play ads fine. I've contemplated shattering the screen so I have excuse to buy another tablet.

Last Samsung tablet I'll ever buy.

Hmm? I made the switch from wired to bluetooth...never noticed this or had an issue. Plus I enjoy walking from room to room listening to music with carrying my tablet.

I just ordered the P11 Pro. I went to Best Buy today to check it out but they only had the P11 Plus. To be honest the P 11 plus looked really good. I compared it with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 and I couldn t justify the extra $300 to stay with Samsung.

As for security updates ending on 7/30/2025. That's great! My security updates for my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 ended years ago...never had an issue. The P11 Pro will be a massive upgrade over my S2.

Funny..when I was at Best Buy today looking at the P11 Plus I went to settings and checked for updates. I download a massive update for the store display model. It said it was a security update and had fixes for bugs. Therefore, I guess updates are actually existent.

THIS is my biggest concern. I have a Lenovo Duet that is slow compared to this tablet, but it's running Chrome OS...and while it's slower and can't run every Android app, I know for sure it will get updates for quite a while. So annoying how many Android tablets never get updated.

I've been a Google user since it was invented, and Android user since the Droid Eris in 2009. The only Apple product I ever owned was an iPad that I quickly gave to my Apple fan GF so I could replace it with a Chrome OS tablet.

To say Android OS is better than IOS is, ESPECIALLY on tablets, is silly.

Bought the 4gb model yesterday, but judging by my phone's RAM usage I'm thinking 6gb would be a nice upgrade (it's wild that my phone averages 7gb while my with laptop manipulating data in multiple excel sheets nearly maxed out in rows uses the same). Hopefully the return process is as easy as the policy says it should be.

As to being OOS, I got a warning that I need to remove it from my cart because it's out but when I tried again it let me go all the way through with purchasing it, we'll see if it actually ships.

Only downside for all android tablets is the total lack of software support. Manufacturers like Motorola or Lenovo completely abandon like they never sold the product once it reaches customer's hand. Good luck even getting security updates, let alone OS upgrades.

I would agree in saying it's a million times better is silly but for some users Android does offer significant advantages. Ignoring the legality, I can adb Bluetooth push audiobooks from My phone to my watch so I can listen on runs without bringing my phone. I have a library account that allows me to download audiobooks without paying the crazy prices on audible or Apple books...afaik this is impossible within the apple ecosystem. Another would be the ability to set up true multiple user accounts on a single device. The tablet that this will be replacing has both my wife and my accounts setup. We use it 95% of the time as a screen for our treadmill and indoor bike, it makes it really easy to use our own accounts for the workout apps with zero login requirements. Just a couple examples but there is a point behind the statements that apple is more restrictive.
