Updates are gonna be non-existent. That's a lot of money for no long term support.

The Lenovo for videos, iPad for games and general use. I have the iPad as well (older gen, but with the same display as the 9th gen), and while the display is decent, it can't compare to any OLED display I have seen so far.

Also, the 16:10 aspect ratio of the Lenovo displaywill work better for videos than the 4:3 aspect ratio of the iPad display, but I prefer the 4:3 ratio for everything besides videos (browsing web, editing photos, etc.).

Yes, this is better than the 4GB version for the minimal price increase. Because of how Android OS is designed now, it actually performs way smoother with higher Ram and you will actually notice that in a 6GB version compared to 4GB.
This tablet is pretty powerful and the SOC is somewhere between a SD 870 and SD 888+, closer to the later and for this price, I don't think any Tablets, costing iven $100 more, come close to this.

I would agree in saying it's a million times better is silly but for some users Android does offer significant advantages. Ignoring the legality, I can adb Bluetooth push audiobooks from My phone to my watch so I can listen on runs without bringing my phone. I have a library account that allows me to download audiobooks without paying the crazy prices on audible or Apple books...afaik this is impossible within the apple ecosystem. Another would be the ability to set up true multiple user accounts on a single device. The tablet that this will be replacing has both my wife and my accounts setup. We use it 95% of the time as a screen for our treadmill and indoor bike, it makes it really easy to use our own accounts for the workout apps with zero login requirements. Just a couple examples but there is a point behind the statements that apple is more restrictive.
Hey, don't get me wrong... I'm a lifetime android user for a reason 😁 I used to flash custom roms to pretty much every phone I owned until they really started getting great hardware. But to ignore the positively aspects of if IOS is crazy

Calm down. Try SD 780.
May be you want to check the Benchmarks. In GPU department, yes, it is not as powerful as SD888 but the CPU performance is pretty much comparable. But please do share some bechmark scores comparing it wiith other dvices.

If you are upgrading from an old old old Tablet then this will not matter. Old Tablets with glitches, 3gb of Ram, no stereo speakers, no 120ghz smooth scrolling will not care. Its an upgrade. Trust me. Go see the P11 Plus at a Best Buy and see if it's not better than your old tech. The P11 Pro will be much better!! unfortunately it's now O O S.

Bought a Galaxy Tab S3 about 5 years ago. Now the piece of junk stutters on YouTube videos. I suspect it has an issue with certain codecs and overheating because it doesn't always do it immediately. It also seems to play ads fine. I've contemplated shattering the screen so I have excuse to buy another tablet.

Last Samsung tablet I'll ever buy.
It's older so it's going to be slower. I have an S2...typing on it right now. It glitches, slows down, I need to run a device maint on it every few hours. It's running 7.0. No updates and many apps on play store are now incompatible. It's because of the lack of updates not the manufacturer. All android based tabs use software from Google.

Only downside for all android tablets is the total lack of software support. Manufacturers like Motorola or Lenovo completely abandon like they never sold the product once it reaches customer's hand. Good luck even getting security updates, let alone OS upgrades.
All manufacturers update for only a few yrs. Not sure if any update forever. Samsung dropped support on my Tab S2 yrs ago. If there's a Tab maker that updates from date of purchase forever...please let us know.

Do you even know what "comparable", "latter", and "between" means?
Can you even understand what benchmarks show?
Even the benchmark example that you lazily linked doesn't even show that its better than SD 870.
You already admitted that its nowhere comparable to SD 888 but yet you just have to mention that its ":closer to the latter".
Why would you use a YT link about heat comparison as an example? Clicks for views?

1300T is not comparable to the 888, more like the CPU of an 855 and the GPU of an 865.

I have had a P12 Pro for about 6 months and haven't had this type of battery drain, even while using it to stream shows via Hulu/Netflix. You likely just have a bad battery that needs to be replaced. It happens with EVERY battery device eventually.

I did provide live benchmarks, didn't I? Notebookcheck is great for comparing Laptop CPU benchmarks but not so for Android ARM SOC because their database is limited for those SOC based products. I do hace S20 Ultra with SD 865 and I have this tablet as well and I can tell you from the results I got. SD 865 / 870 and 1300T has same CPU configuration but 1300T is based on 6nm Node vs 7nm of SD 865 and because of that, it has better sustained Clock speed and higher efficiency. GPU wise, I would say it is similar to SD 865.
And another thing, Komanio 1300T is not technically same as Dimensity 1300. 1300T is tailor made for bigger tablets and Chromebooks and developed to have slightly higher power envelop than Dimensity counterpart which you see in Phones.
