Anyone can get this deal whether your location has it in stock or not. Ask a Best Buy rep to order it for you and they will charge you the sale price. Simple as that. I know it's hard to comprehend Best Buy doing something right after the iPad price match fiasco from a couple of weeks ago but people really need to check the thread comments and stop asking the same questions over and over again
I just paid 250 for this receiver 2 months ago refurbished.
It's a solid device BTW. Paired it with a JAMO set.

So you have nothing hooked up to the TV, you just watch antenna? Ideally you'd want to plug your streaming sticks, cable box, whatever is connected to the TV now to the receiver, then the receiver to the TV.
The reason for this is someTVs will not tell attached HDMI devices that they are surround sound capable so the TV will not pass surround sound to the receiver, whereas if you plug those devices directly into the receiver, they will pass 5.1.

Do the wireless adapters to these things work well? I have a pretty decent size living room and I don't want wires going all over, especially to the rear. I see that there are wireless kits available for the rear speakers like this:
