Dude have you read through any of the comments? With so many people still commenting that they missed the deal, it's obvious how many people don't take a little time browse through the comments to track the progress of the deal.

Anyone can get this deal whether your location has it in stock or not. Ask a Best Buy rep to order it for you and they will charge you the sale price. Simple as that. I know it's hard to comprehend Best Buy doing something right after the iPad price match fiasco from a couple of weeks ago but people really need to check the thread comments and stop asking the same questions over and over again

$220 for a Name brand 5.1 4k receiver? And speakers? And a sub? Maybe 10 years ago.

I just paid 250 for this receiver 2 months ago refurbished.

It's a solid device BTW. Paired it with a JAMO set.

How would I get them to price match the deal? Doubt I can just use the screenshot of the slick deals ad? Never done this before would really appreciate any help

It's not a price match, it's a system wide price. Tell them you want to order an item for store pickup, give them the SKU and it will ring up at $220.xx. Easy Peasy.

Yeah, I knew they wouldn't be an upgrade, but was hoping it would be a side-grade at worst case so the Yamahas could at least be secured to the third party stands I have. The HTKS 16 rears are currently flipped upside down since that's the only side that's flat. The casing has this horrible design so there's no way to mount it with regular stands, but they sold out of their first party stands ages again.

The receiver will be an upgrade at least. A family friend gave me their old one and it works 99% of the time. If I turn it off, then the rear speakers don't fire, so I have to leave it on all the time. Probably an early to mid 2000s Sony. It doesn't even have HDMI (thankfully has optical).

I went to the store on Sunday and ordered it at about 11:40 am EST. Mine was estimated to arrive Friday, March 3rd, but when I go login and check the status, it says my "store I chose for pickup no longer has this item in stock" and the only thing I can do is cancel. Huh? I guess some stock are pulled regionally. Otherwise I don't see how others whose orders were placed after mine are fulfilled.
