I would get the S8 , the newer cpu is a huge different.

It's a minor difference, and one that 80% of users won't notice. This tablet is the pricing sweet spot for the average user. Even better when Walmart had them for $400 last year, but this is still a solid tablet all around.

Wrong, you'll notice huge different when you use it. I had s7 but sold it after using s8. It less hot and battery at least 50% longer when playing game. Real world experience is better than what you see on paper.

Right. Like I said, 80% of people won't notice, so there's no reason they should pay more for what they don't need. This one is currently at the pricing sweet spot for the majority. You aren't in the majority.

Pricing is not at a sweet spot. I was able to get a Tab S8+ for around this price a few months back. Tab S9+ is expected to be released in the coming months too. Should be no more than $400 for this tablet.

Why would I lie about something like this? Many people did it using the double trade in strategy. Look at past deals. Trade in an extremely old Galaxy Tablet or iPad (if you dont already have one, buy one for cheap) and get the S7 FE then trade in the S7 FE for the S8+. Sasmung was offering $500 trade in credit for the S7 FE at the time and then stack it up with some Black Friday deals, Student Discount, Cashback, etc. If you don't know how to get good deals, that's your issue. Total out of pocket cost should be around $500 ($400 if you chose the pink color).

I traded in a Galaxy Tab S 8.4 (roughly 9 years old) in and got the S7 FE for $229. I traded in the S7 FE and got the S8+ for $269. Got a free official case too. Cashback was 10% + another 5% from my CC.
