Ok fine guys I'll do it haha, just send me something in return

I WILL POST A CODE AT 6:15 EST (25 minutes). Please DO NOT complete the purchase until 6:25. As long as it applies to your cart, you don't have to worry about missing it. Just proceed to the screen after payment selection and wait

Go to https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us
Make sure you are logged into the Microsoft account tied to your XBox
On the Contact Us page, click on the green button that says Contact us
When it asks to "tell us a little more" I did the following prompts:

What are you having trouble with? - Hardware and Network
What's the issue? - Warranty, service, & repair
Where are you seeing it? - XBox Series S
Describe your issue? - I typed in "Contact".

The window will give you recommendations to follow. One of them may be Request a call. Hit that button.
It'll ask you again to describe your issue. Just say "Warranty issue". On the "Select a category" box I just put down Hardware & network.
Click on the "Request a call: Estimated wait: # minutes" button. That should open up the Virtual Agent. They will tell you to complete a CAPTCHA.
Once you get past the CAPTCHA you give them your phone number to have them call you.
Wait until you get the call and then go from there.

It's needlessly convoluted, and there are other routes to take that'll get you to the Request a Call page, but this is how I was able to do it. Best of luck!

So now that we're all new Xbox owners what should we do with our systems?
Is the monthly games pass thing worth it?
What are the top things we should play?
Are there any accessories that are necessities?
When is Starfield coming out?
Let's start a Slickdeals club/group/team and play any number of the free and dirt cheap online multiplayer games we've collected over the years. The monthly Game Pass is totally worth it especially when purchased at a discount. This link takes you to Metacritic's top Series X|S games of all time, and that's not even taking into account the previous generations:

https://www.metacritic.com/browse...x/filtered

There are no necessary accessories per se, unless you need more controllers for multiplayer gaming. Finally, Starfield is coming out in the first half of this year, 2023, and will become available on Game Pass on day one.

all the code begging people downvoting my comment.. lmao. If you really want the xbox, many ebay sellers are selling new for about forty dollars more. You don't need to beg if you can spend 40 more.
Hmm generational bottleneck that gamers wouldn't be paid to touch apparently has people begging to buy at 150 dollars

The Microsoft website says my Xbox Series S warranty ends on 6/11/2023. I called Microsoft twice, and they said that the warranty starts when Verizon bought and scanned the system and that the system must be old stock. They won't extend the warranty since I didn't purchase the system directly through Microsoft. Also, Verizon says that the system warranty should start when it is registered by me and not when they bought it from Microsoft. I also confirmed with Microsoft that I was the 1st to register the system according to them. Is this an issue many are experiencing with the warranty? If so is there any resolution?

Xbox came and has definitely been opened. It looks like it was resealed with the official seal, but there is damage to the box underneath the seal - I'm guessing these are actually refurbs of some sort.
Are you saying packaging box damage or damage on the xbox ?

Packaging box damage, but it's underneath the clear factory seal which appears to be intact. Haven't opened it yet as it's for a friend, but I may just to verify it's all good. Seems like it was re sealed. Not sure how the box damage could have got there otherwise.

I got my Xbox and all is good. Just wanted to thank everyone in the thread who provided info and help. And especially codes for those of us who didn't have them.

Deal may be over, but this was an epic thread and it is destined to be a classic Smilie

I ordered on 3/2. The website said it was shipped in the next morning, but the shipping label was created around 5 pm that day. No further updates so far. Anyone has a similar experience? Are they still going to ship it?

I had the same issue. Used the contact us feature from my Microsoft account and spoke with a rep. He emailed me a link where I uploaded my receipt. Warranty end date was corrected and now reflects the proper date (1 year from date of purchase).

Just register for UPS My Choice and FedEx Delivery Manager. If VZW shipped the console, it'll show up in one of these apps (mine shipped via UPS).

Regarding the warranty issue: The warranty on my console was also not for one year. I did call Microsoft support telling them that my warranty was set to expire on 6/11 as well. I provided them with the Verizon receipt and they were able to extend my warranty to 2/29/24. The only issue I had was finding a way to contact Microsoft without dealing with their dumb "Virtual Assistant".
