Saw Loverboy around 1984 or 5. Didn't know they were still a thing.

Foreigner is now just a cover band. Only one member left when they were popular. Even then, don't think Mick Jones even goes touring anymore.

Regarding bands, caught Loverboy on their first show back post-pandemic last February. 4 of 5 are original and Mike Reno can still sing them all. An entire theater of people paid way more than $20 a head to watch just them.

Foreigner is about the songs at this point. If you goal is to see 70 year old men who did the songs in the 19070's then no this isn't for you. If you like the songs though, this band does them almost to perfection. And most tribute bands charge more than this

I didn't know that. That puts a damper on seeing them. Well, their regular ticket prices are very expensive. It must be a nice deal for Mick Jones or whoever has the rights to the band name to have them continue performing.

Yeah, I guess that's how you have to look at this. I saw the 4NR tribute band at the Orange County Fair in the small stage and the tickets over over $20.
