Both chairs listed aren't great at sitting for long periods but they're wonderful for extra sitting options during a long workday in front of a computer. I'm in for the Luna on my standing desk, and I've tried out the ILOA and quite liked it. Happy hunting all.

Motor is pretty quiet. I have the 3-stage frame becuase I was worried about it going low enough, but the 2-stage would have been fine.
My monitor is a 38" Ultrawide mounted on an arm and it's not centered on the desk. When lowering, this causes enough wobble that the motor occasionally stops and goes into its 'I think I'm going to hit something' mode. Just have to hit the button again, but a little annoying. I could fix this by center-mounting the monitor but... meh
I originally purchased the curved top but the bamboo started splitting, enough that you could fit a piece of paper between the split wood pieces in places. I'm in Arizona and it's very dry here and I think the curve and contoured cut are problematic for the dry air. They replaced it for me with a non-curved one with no questions and covered shipping. I haven't had any cracks on the non-curved one. So if you're in a dry climate, or don't want to oil your desk all the time, I'd go with the flat edge.
The metal cable management tray is worth it, but it does stick out the back a little so make sure you have the space to accommodate it.
I have zero experience with other brands so can't compare to any, but I am happy enough with this one that I'd see no reason to look into alternates.
I bought a Jarvis standing desk last fall, and I've been very pleased with it. Some of the add ons though are a bit pricey

I emailed them on Monday and haven't heard back yet. I bought this desk when they had a 20% sale and I emailed them when I saw a 30% sale recently.
And now I see 50%?!
The price of living on the islands I suppose lol. It's either go with a Jarvis bamboo for total $900 or a remi for a little less then $500… hmmm
