You can not have more than 1 Sapphire card at the same time, and you can not get a new Sapphire signup bonus if you received one on any Sapphire card in the last 48 months.
For anyone debating on whether to go for this, know that the all time high is 100k bonus points, making this a very lucrative opportunity.
You can- I've seen YMMV reports about how many days you need to wait between cancelling and new application though.
Also things to keep in mind:
Use any credits you might have on existing card you haven't used yet.
Insure you move your UR points to a different card before closing old one.

Call recon line. Ask what cards they think put you over 5/24. Every time they name one you're only an AU on say "I am not financially responsible for that card"
If you get a rep who doesn't care about that fact, HUCA.
The banker we talked to called recon for us and they told him the AUs count. He followed up with an email to us today so I asked him to call the recon line again on our behalf. In the mean time I challenged all the AU accounts on her Experian credit report so I'll see if I can get them to no longer show up.
I went to the branch to apply for this offer, but they don't see this offer for me and they did verify that I never applied for this card in the past.
May be ill get my wife to apply and see if she qualifies for it.
Anybody had this happen?
Yes. Branch banker knew of the offer and verified it was still active. But when Banker pulled up my profile to start the application, the Sapphire card was not visible. Several other chase cards were visible and I was pre-approved, but not the Sapphire offer. And I verified it's been over 48 months since getting my last chase sign-up bonus. Might try another branch but that doesn't make sense to me why that should change anything.
I forgot when last time i got the card, anyway to check when last time i got it so i can apply again?
I just sign in to online banking and check how far back my statements go. Even if you downgraded a card, statements should be there. You should find the statement where points were awarded. Alternatively, create a credit karma account, they list age of your cards.

same thing happened to me. Not sure why. System didn't let him choose Sapphire card. I don't remember having this card in the last 3-4 years.

I did the same thing to confirm on my end. I had this card before and the last available statement was March 2021. I went in yesterday to apply and was approved instantly.
I had Chase Sephira Preferred account that I opened for another bonus offer about five years ago.
Afterwards, I closed the account and it has been about 4 years since then.
Do I qualify for this offer now, again?
Thanks.
Worked today - it was right on the screen next to the card - not a special offer on their end. I was going to wait and see if I was targeted for a 100k mailing but I'd rather not miss this (and have my card with me to travel / rack up points).

Well that's confusing....unless I'm misunderstanding you say you had this card and last statement was in 2021?? Being approved for the card and getting the bonus again are 2 different things.. of course Chase would love to give you the card again and have you meet the spend threshold only to deny you the bonus bc it's been under 48 months since your last one...

I meant 2019. March 2019 was the month I closed the account, not the month I received the bonus. I just needed to confirm 48 months have passed.

I went in today and this is exactly what happened to me. She even called some number and they said they can't even see my chase cards in the past. So she created a new account and it let her apply for the card for me. Under review though.

1 year later you can, not any sooner
