Anyone complaining about it or being brushless, just take a step back for a minute.
This is a $100 kit with a free tool that's hackable to be around $60. This impact is plenty to work on most lug nuts that are correctly torqued on and it's quite a bargain when you start comparing it to other options out there.
Yes it's brushed, yes it's not 600+ ft/lbs, but that's why it's aggressively priced.
is this anywhere close to the high torque milwaukee or dewalt offerings in terms of power?
edit- 400ft lbs, not even close :/
It's not bad on the tests I looked at (better than the Rigid and craftsman in same category) but I decided to go with the Milwaukee 2962-20. It's more power, brushless, more compact and better warranty and was only $154(tool only). Not 4 to 5 times as much and 4 to 5 times as much power though😅
Getting an error when I try to add to cart. Deal dead or just an issue at the moment?
Same. Out of stock even though it says there is 3k of them.
I think they screwed up the impact and wasn't ment to be 99. That is super cheap for tool only of it even. (edit) it use to be $139 on sale most of the time so apparently it's currently $99 without battery.
I love mine that I picked up last year.

try a different home depot or call the phone support and arrange a return via shipping.
