I have this monitor. I love it and it is my daily driver. I also have a g9 49 incher, but I like this one better because 49er can feel a bit overwhelming. The only thing about this monitor is that the plastic case feels kind of cheap. I guess that's because it is not designed to be the top of the line.

On a side note, and I am not encouraging anyone to so, but just FYI. After I put in order for the monitor, I immediately called Samsung to cancel it because I thought I should go for g9 instead of this one. The rep told me that if I keep the order, they will discount it for another 10%, which I did keep it and they did credit 10% back to me. Not sure if you can replicate my experience.

I've had this since release. Im using a 3070 as well as a 6850m xt with it. HDR is trash but if HDR was what you wanted you should already know to look elsewhere. I experience screen tears (both gaming and productivity usage) on a regular basis and I'm using it the most updated firmware. Not the brightest, not the absolute most color accurate but that being said, for this price point I think it's worth it. Thanks for listening to my Ted talk.

I'm in the market and was about to buy the Dell 34" that is $379 on Amazon.

Which is a better monitor for gaming?

Are you using a dp 1.4 cable? I have a dp 2.0 one coming and hoping it fixes the tears. The monitor is only dp 1.4 but the higher quality cable may help. Turning down refresh rates seems to reduce tearing and this reso at 165 Hz is pushing on dp 1.4 limits.

Agree with the hdr being no good. Probably about 85% of the color quality of my old ips.
