**** STOP ****

I absolutely love bidets, but for the love of God DO NOT BUY SUPPORT THIS COMPANY OR BUY THIS PRODUCT. Read the reviews first and make an informed decision. I've got 4 of these and after experiencing the same issues with the slow closing hinges breaking on all 4. The lid closes fast and you can't lift the toilet seat without it falling off into the toilet! Customer service chuckled and basically admitted it's a known issue but continue to sell it. I'd highly recommend staying away from these. Read the reviews and the experience of other Slickdealers as they experienced the same issues as we did. Defective by design after about 2 years.

Your comment cannot be blank.

I have this seat... I wouldn't recommend it. It doesn't clean that well imo. Also I had a feature stop working after a year and had to send it in for a warranty fix... That sucked... And also at 2.5 years the heated seat stopped working. I still have it but am waiting for a toto to go on sale. It sounds basic, but having the heated seat is really awesome.
You guys, I have 4 of these. Be aware they do NOT last more than 2-3 years. 1-2 months after 2 year mark, two of the bidets seat and cover slow close mechanism broke. One of them developed a short causing the toilet seat to overheat like crazy.

Read the reviews, these are known problems. BioBidet is selling known defective designs at rock bottom prices so you guys pay the exhorbitant repairs after 2 years.
I would not recommend this one, it's like a pressure washer for your butthole. I prefer the Kohler and Brondell brands that I got from Costco

Not sure how you treat the toilet seat/bidet. But I have two of these since precovid and never had any issues. Still on same batteries for the remote, seat warmer and the water temp are always on especially in the cooler months. See lots of complaints here so could be some bad units though I never had any issues with mine.

A broken bidet does not = no working toilet.

Quote from therealhustle :
I WOULD NOT recommend anyone to buy this brand. I have a $2000 BioBidet toilet at my house that has a specially shaped bowl that only fits their top. The top started malfunctioning and I contacted BioBidet because it was still under warranty. This is my experience:

1st:
Their phone lines are OFF THE HOOK. This is by design so you cannot get a live agent on the line. After the pre-recorded message, it hangs up on you. I asked an customer service agent about this via email and they confirmed that they've been understaffed for MONTHS. You have to go through their email support, which often takes 5+ business days for someone to respond.

2nd:
After finally getting an RA number, I mailed in the mechanical top of my Bio Bidet Toilet. It was under warranty and well received by Bio Bidet. When I didn't hear back from the repair team for 6 business days, I emailed customer service and received confirmation that they mailed out a repaired unit. When I looked up the tracking number, it was delivered to a city that's 3 hours away from me. I've been emailing them relentlessly since I found this out and they've been ignoring my emails ever since this mishap. They mailed my repaired bidet to the wrong address and they are refusing to answer any of my emails or acknowledge they've made a mistake. The way this bidet is designed, it only fits their toilet. The porcelain bottom of the toilet has a special design that fits only with the Bio Bidet top, which they mailed to the wrong address. I've been without a useable toilet for 1 month now.

3rd:
I finally received a replacement top after submitting a complaint to the BBB. The replacement top DOES NOT WORK. I have been waiting for a response for 3 days now... STILL WITHOUT A WORKING TOILET.

YMMV

I have a 6800, 6800u, a Moen "5-Series", and a Novita BH-93.

The 6800 was first in 2016 (open box from Woot!)

The 6800u and Moen (both on sale from Coscto) were around 2020. The Novita is about a year old.

All still work exactly as they did at purchase.

The 6800u is my least favorite.

The Novita is my favorite, so to me, if you're gonna pick one of those, wait for the Novita to go on sale again at Costco.

But then again, none of them are awful per se…

Not sure if this is a good deal or not but I recently made the jump from a $20 cold water bidet to a premium plug in bidet and I can happily say that the extra money was worth the upgrade.

Mine fell to pieces after 2 years, first the outer seat began cracking near the hinge, then the water tank developed a crack and began leaking. Replaced it with a brondell, the pressure isn't as high but the drying fan is better and the plastic isn't as flimsy.

I weigh 220 and my wife is <100 so I can't imagine how these last with heavier people.

Question for fellow owners - does the warm water normally run out pretty quickly? Mine starts nice and warm for about 10-15 seconds, then turns to tap temperature. Is that normal?

I also had the lid crack around the soft-close mechanism, but I was able to glue it back together.
I also had the same problem but was able to jankily plastic weld it back together using a soldering iron. That faulty soft-close mechanism seems like it for planned obsolescence.

DING DING DING

That's exactly it. The company knows this and is selling it anyways. I plan on writing a strong letter to costco corporate. This is borderline fraud on the part of Biobidet. We had 2 of them crack on us so far and other reviewers noting the same thing. You have to literally open the unit, disconnect wires, etc to get it replaced and they don't cover you if you break something in the process.

Anyone have experience on how the plastic nozzles held up over the years?
Have had 2 of these installed for over 3 years ... The nozzles have held up well ... I had to replace one unit because the cover developed a crack in it but Costco easily replaced it

Best comment I've ever read on Amazon... "Bidets are great and I'll never go back. Wiping with toilet paper reminds me of trying to get peanut butter off shag carpet with sandpaper!"

These are no good I have one in the basement that doesn't even need electricty that gives me an enema if I aim my butt right and I love it. This one is like a little spray bottle.
