i just got an open box gigabyte 7900 xtx gaming oc from bb. normally, with the open box, it'll show unavailable nearby unless it's physically at a store within a certain distance from you. i tried calling bb and offered to pay for shipping if i could buy one that showed unavailable nearby for me, and they actually allowed it. i noped out after hearing the shipping cost ($29), but then they said they'll ship it for free.
fwiw, the gigabyte gaming oc model doesn't seem be one of the better aib's. just letting you guys know that worked for me
Which Microcenter are you seeing this price at?
I have one really close to me but their online posted open box prices are about what this deal for the NIB unit is.
I am wondering if I maybe need to just swing by the store after work in case they just aren't advertising the lowest open box prices online?

Guys. If you can wait, just wait till Q3 this year. I check out Microcenter website on daily basis and I can assure you 7900 series and 4070Ti are not selling at all. lol. The price will drop fast. I see some open box for 7900XT selling at 679 to 722 already.
Also, don't buy 4070Ti. Many recent released game already eat up 13 to 14 GB vram. You are going to get stutter for 12GB vram….

Thank you, I need an excuse not to buy this. I don't *actually* need it right now but my 2080 is kind of aging.

I almost jumped on the 7900 XT open box for $679 at my local Micro Center
What's the lowest you think it'll go by Q3 this year? $600? $579?
