This drive has a rating of 440 TBW, which would be 24 years writing 50 GB per day. Are you writing 50 GB per day to your drive? And if you are, how much do you think it will cost to replace this drive in 24 years?
The analogy here is a car with a 1,000,000 mile 5 year warranty. No normal person is going to exceed 1M miles in 5 years. Worrying about getting a 1.5M mile warranty with the same 5 year warranty isn't going to be anymore valuable for anyone.

Same story for TBW. The (now ancient) TechReport study on write endurance [techreport.com] of SSDs showed that even slamming SSDs with constant IOs they all lasted way longer than the rated "TBW." Few people are likely to have their drives fail because they've written too much data to them.
Poor Micron...(owns the Crucial brand).

Edit: Sorry this is the plus model. The one I got was the standard. Still a great deal for 2tb at 50 bucks
