Six years have passed since the biological disaster in Raccoon City. Agent Leon S. Kennedy, one of the survivors of the incident, has been sent to rescue the president's kidnapped daughter. He tracks her to a secluded European village, where there is something terribly wrong with the locals. And the curtain rises on this story of daring rescue and grueling horror where life and death, terror and catharsis intersect.
Featuring modernized gameplay, a reimagined storyline, and vividly detailed graphics,

There are a *small* number of bugs, yes, but overall the game runs like a dream on PC. I've been pretty much playing it non-stop for a full week. Highly suggest getting it now.

gotcha, i wasnt the one complaining about the bugs fyi. i dont have the game on pc. someone else did
Just got the RE2 Remake for $10. Absolutely loved it, but the similarities with the RE4 Remake having just played that are a little too similar. I'm gonna hold off buying it for now
They're really nothing alike besides being survivor horror.
Thanks for the offer.
But the cheapskate in me says wait till it shows up in the PC bargain bin.
Not a problem with lots of games in the backlog on Steam.

This game is not bug free by any stretch. I have had half a dozen D3D crash-to-desktop errors, and no, I'm not running with my VRAM in the orange (according to in-game settings). Still an absolute blast to play though.
Digital Foundry had a video of pc ver. That had a lot of issues on it.
Not sure what system they were running. I finished my first play through and had only 1 crash in the 15 hours it took me to complete the campaign no other glitches at all. They are dropping a FREE DLC pack this weekend with mercenaries and probably Ada Wong story. Great REMake to an already great game. Buy it.
I got this same deal from CD Keys for $45 back in early December of last year. Waited months for the release…and it does live to its hype.
Hardly anything was cut from the OG. There were of course some changes made to "improve" the story. I didn't mind it, though. Great story!
Also, I didn't encounter any bugs for the entire play-through in the PC version, but I was warned about a knife bug in chapter 12 that was going to be patched.
Thanks been running this for a few hours now and it runs great - I haven't had any performance issues or glitches yet. The mouse and keyboard controls feel very natural and not like an after thought slapped on a console port, aside from the questionable default crouch binding being "e"(who does that?).

This game made me upgrade my old gtx980ti to 6750xt. Vram was crucial to run ultrawide 1440p 100fps+. My OC 9770k kept freezing for first time so i undo all overclocking and game ran fine to the end.
I have ps5 but bought pc version for better aiming. This game was more fps than exploring map. Great game and will be playing 2nd round soon

If they ever remake Dino crises I will give them $70 no problem.
Capcom built their own engine, so they don't have as much issues as other developers.
