-edit : as far as "heat and noise" go, the Asus is also quieter on the performance power setting than the MSI, the AW, and Dell that I tested, the lenovo seemed the quietest of the bunch but was also least powerful with a 5600h and a 3050 in it; on the turbo setting the Asus becomes as loud as the others but the fans aren't as high pitched and therefore less obtrusive, if that makes sense. What's great in the Asus is that the wattage can be controlled down to a single watt with Armoury crate (from 5-100w for the CPU and 5-190w for the GPU I believe, which gives excellent control of power and therefore temps, running the CPU at 45W yields 72C on stress testing (with only a marginal decrease in performance at ~10%) while the AW I had with the i7 went up to 95C at full load even with an undervolt (and the 12th/13th gen intels are even worse with their temps); unless you set TCC in the AW BIOS to 10-15 which caused significant decreases in cpu clock speed as soon as the temp limit was reached causing stutters); Asus GPU runs about 82-84C at the maximum TDP of 190w with custom settings and approx 76-78 on the Turbo setting with stress testing which is about the same as the other laptops. If you set the fan curve to be even more aggressive the temps improve by a couple of celsius on the CPU/GPU. Lots of info here it's late excuse the grammatical or syntax errors I'm tired had a long day.
CPU is not powerful as i7 or i9 12th gen , but in general everything works amazingly fine !
P.S. I wish to see more RX6800M and RX6850M with a full TDP in more laptops . This card is not expensive as RTX 3070Ti or RTX 3080 , but can beat them in a lot of games.

I factory reset it and started over in hopes that it would fix the blue screen issue but unfortunately it did not. I tried various "fixes" I found on forums and Reddit but none helped. One of the suggestions was to swap out the ram so I bought 32gb of ram and swapped it in but the issue continued.
This is probably not a common issue but just wanted to share my experience. Maybe that's why the original buyer returned the laptop as well. I believe that if I had bought it brand new, the experience may have been different.
I did not want to return it but ultimately decided to do it since it would suck to have the system crash in the middle of gaming with the others.
With that being said tho, I still wouldn't hesitate to say if you are on the fence, definitely still give it a try!

I know that the display on the MSI Katana is pretty bad, but the Asus G15 doesn't have a MUX switch, so you need to connect to an external display anyway if you want to get the full performance. Additionally, the MSI comes with DDR5 memory, while the Asus G15 comes with crappy single-rank DDR4, so you will need to spend more money on better 2Rx8 RAM if you want to get the full performance of the AMD CPU.
The Asus G15 is also a great laptop, but with more upcoming games supporting DLSS 3 and full ray/path-tracing, I believe that the RTX 4060 is more future-proof.
I can say that colors produced by amd is excellent when compared to Nvidia 3070 ti (150W). You definitely need RAM upgrade.
I play Forza, and this AMD machine always keep saying out of memory after using 15GB memory, but Nvidia laptop uses just 8 GB of RAM.
Is the raw power and almost double VRAM of the 6800 a major factor, or the efficiency and edge of the RTX 4060 in terms of both power consumption and Ray tracing/DLSS technology makes it the winner?
What would be the better future-proof choice if the aim is to game on 1440p res.?
I've been looking for a gaming laptop in the last year or so, and one thing I do know, unless you drop $3000-4000, you can't "have it all". VFM-wise, I don't know about any other laptop on the market right now that can beat this Asus model. But unfortunately this model is a Best Buy exclusive (they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced).
I remember there was this big talk about price cuts and a crazy Black Friday, and then nothing happened. Prices are still unbalanced, to say the least. Hack, that HP Pavilion w/ a GTX 1650 I got for $450 during 2020's Black Friday would still be consider a good deal in 2023 by some.
