A lot of big name outdoor gear makers have goods produced in Vietnam. Mystery Ranch is known for some of the highest quality packs and the first place they built an office outside the US was Ho Chi Minh City. Don't confuse every South East Asian country with China. I'll take a knife or tool made in the right Taiwanese factory any day or nylon gear from Vietnam. That being said, yeah it has a Swedish flag on it you'd expect it might still have Swedish roots.
I bet someone from Vietnam wouldn't make said mistake.

If you're looking to get a technical fleece made anywhere other than Asia you're going to be paying a mint. Don't believe this BS about stuff made in vietnam being inferior quality. Patagonia makes most of their stuff in China for instance.
People talking about brand name stuff while they use their iPhones, wear Carhartt and use dewalt and milwaukee to hang pictures and put up shelves. The name brand kool-aid isnt just for teenagers and fashion.
I bought this jacket and returned it because it was very stiff and heavy. I was expecting a soft fleece but apparently it has this rougher inner lining made of a different material than the fleece.
The jacket comes very stiff but loosens up as you wear it and wash it a few times. It's very warm and I love it.
