It can also be used to run an external cab from the Spark or Spark Mini. Also good for a back up if you main amp fails during a small gig. Don't see why not, just use the effects loop and skip the preamp. There is a guy on YouTube who runs the larger power Electro Harmonix Magnum 44 with a Spark. For $80 delivered I will find out. I current run my Spark mini through a JBL 306P II. It runs fine however it doesn't get very loud, but the sound is sweet.
Maybe you are running the mini or even the original and want to play through a 10 or 12" speaker. I run my Spark Mini through a JBL 306P MKii monitor and it sounds fabulous.
