Recteq for sure. Recteq is also going to be much more expensive. I have a camp chef and it is great, but I would really like to upgrade to a recteq one of these days
The price for the RT-B380X is matched on Amazon with 15% off also, shipped from recteq. The 5% back with Amazon card makes it a little better deal from Amazon. I haven't checked if the other models are also marked down.

Wow I was under the impression that Recteq never does sales. It's always like get something free or discounted if you buy something expensive, never just a straight up sale. Kind of goes against the philosophy they've put out on this previously.

I've had them for a couple years and yes, I can't recall just having a percentage discount like this in the past. I did get some deals in the past like buy x and get discount on y.
Pulled the trigger on the RT-700 and a few accessories! Was shocked to see the email this morning as we had been holding out for Father's Day in hopes to get 5-10% off. At 15% for everything it wasn't even a question!

Makes sense was looking at the RT-590 but seems like it does not have an ash out cleaning like some of the camp chefs I have seen.
My brother-in-law has two of the BFG's and they are huge. They always give superb results and the amount of food you can cook on one of the BFG's is crazy.
I have been waiting for a sale and pulled the trigger on the RT-1250 with the add-on or 200 pounds of ultimate pellets for an additional $74. Can't wait to try it out!

Sales for them is rare but their website even says they indeed do sales but they never announce them ahead of time and it's dependent on things like their inventory.
A site wide sale like this makes me wonder if they are just too heavy on inventory or if they are about to release some new things and making room for new stuff. Regardless, ordered what I have had my eye on with the announcement of this sale.
They lowered the base price, RT-700 was $1,500 a couple months ago
My understanding is that the RT-1250, which is an upgraded RT-700 with a better auger system, second cooking rack and front shelf on the exterior took the $1500 price point and pushed the RT-700 down their lineup one spot to a slightly cheaper price point. I'm guessing they saw a gap in the market for those shopping price points between the 590 and 700 and this was their solution to it.

I really love my Camp Chef pellet smoker.
