This or the Nari Essential for $35, is it worth to pay extra? I play a lot and confort is my main struggle not sure if because big head or my glasses but non have worked for me. Some options I have tried with no success:
- Astro A50
- Steelseries 7p
- Steelseries 3
- razer blackshark v2
- 3d pulse
Wife started to ask if I plan to open a headset shop 😅

I bought the Essential. No regrets for what I wanted - it's very comfortable and fit for purpose when playing games, with decent directional sound using default settings. Music is nice but nothing to write home about.

The sound experience is good but isn't remarkable, and the higher Nari models are known for their bigger speaker drivers over the Essential, so if you value a premium immersive sound quality experience it may be worth looking at something else higher budget (Nari or otherwise).

This is a good comparison video for Essential vs. higher models

I've been using my Viper Ultimate for almost 2 years now. Literally the only issue I've ever had was the side grip wearing away, but Razer replaced the entire mouse without any trouble. My brother has been using a headset and keyboard from Razer for years as well, barely any issues he's mentioned. So my experience with them is very positive.

I got a mouse from razor when they first got established, it went to shit after 6 months, got another one, same deal. Won't catch me with their products again! I'm sure they've improved, but I ain't risking my money again.

I've had the razor Nari 7.1 for almost 4 years and it's still going strong. This headset does work while charging but also has 3.5mm. As I've gotten older and moved away from gaming something I value is ANC and these don't have it so in my current phase of life there are better options.

I read that wireless headphones cant achieve anything better than 2 channels because of limitations of blutooth? Can this one really do 7.1 channels if it's true wireless?

I don't know the answer to this but it doesn't connect via bluetooth, it uses a USB-A dongle. I tested the THX spatial capabilities on my PC and it seemed to fire from all directions.

You can't even eq the essential to sound good, for the price it's still a great deal but you get what you pay for.

I'm currently using a wired $20 sennheiser epos on PC with a decent creative sound card which sounds just ok but my favorite has continued to be the turtle beach 600 for my series x.

Can you elaborate on these? A friend of mine is 6'7" so he has a hard time finding headphones that fit. He had to return the steelseries nova pro's cause they hurt his ears almost immediately (they have some sort of nub inside...its doesnt effect me at all).

I have purchased multiple Nari Essentials and I cannot believe that these are significantly different. I use mine for gaming and Teams meetings for work. They are excellent for Teams but I often have problems using them with Steam. I can hear others but they cannot hear me. VERY frustrating.

Strange, why would it work with teams but not steam? I have had horrible luck with microphones on Razer wireless headphones. Never had any issues with their wired headphones though. Maybe I should try different apps ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
