In older ASUS RT-AX86U router, when enable Dual Wan (Load Balance), it will disable features like "Traffic Analyzer", "Parental Controls", etc.
For this newer RT-AXE7800, can you have Dual Wan (Load Balance), Traffic Analyzer, Parental Controls all enable at the same time?

Ax86u pro has more powerful cpu, batter than this one, but if your have 6e devices, you need 6e router.

Probably, though TP-Link has some WiFi 7 equipment already released, but I remember a friend of mine was so cool as he was one of the first testers on a WiFi 7 project before it launched.

TP-Link Deco BE95 WiFi 7 Mesh(2-Pack): https://www.bestbuy.com/site/tp-l...Id=6533024

TP-Link Archer BE900 Quad Band WiFi 7 router: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/tp-l...Id=6533023

Both are OOS at Best Buy and Amazon right now

The Mesh units have 2x 10 Gig ports and 2x 2.5 Gig ports, the router has a display onboard and 2x 10 Gig ports 2x 2.5 Gig Ports and 1x 1 Gig port.

I got the ax86u pro instead on this. Didnt really feel like I needed the Wi-Fi 6e and would need to get devices that support it and hope the range is even far enough for my devices

No problems with my ax86u pro, pretty much doubled my 5ghz speed with large downloads but it does use like 95% of its ram all the time which is a bit weird

Found a sweet deal for 1 person.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/30490165...icQAvD_BwE

Just a heads up guys with Wifi unless you using 70 devices you're going to get pretty much the same speeds with quality routers on modern standards, no matter how many antennas they have, how many WAN ports you can aggregate, whether you're using your gaming port for super duppa fast gaming, etc. The gaming port might help if you're maxing your bandwidth but games don't do that unless you're in the sticks on a wireless hotspot. I know this is over generalization but anyway gl!

PS Last edit I swear...Linus can help you understand what I mean. HE explains what I mean in the first few minutes... found this after I posted https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o...ortCircuit

PS AsusMerlin is sweet for supported routers. (I use the AX68U and .. it's awesome and also the cheapest AX full-featured Asus router with full Merlin support)

Range of 6E sucks. Prices will be come down to 100-150$ max soon with WiFi 7 which is game changer.

Anybody know if I can still use the AI Mesh function if I use it as an AP with routing/firewall being done by a PFsense or OPNsense box?
