    I got 4 of them on clearance from walmart for $40, gave one away to a friend who loves to garden, and one for a christmas gift. hubby uses one and im gonna start another one. I could never choke down prices like that. I bought stuff online abd a black container from home depto for 48 strawberrys last year and the grandkids loved it

    Been using mine since Christmas- love it!

    Pro tip: DO NOT PLANT MINT OR DILL. They will overtake the rest of your herbs and are the least used herbs (unless you love mint and dill I guess Big Grin).

    I do 2 basil, thyme, parsley, and chives in mine.

    If you're a real cheapskate AGs often pop up on used marketplaces for a fraction of purchase cost. I think they're truly best for seed starting with one of their seed starting trays. If you're a brutal cheapskate you can have a more effective and flexible system for less money arguably (led lights + black plastic tub with lid + 3 inch holesaw + drill + 3 inch netcups + coco coir).
