Oh, duh! That's a good idea to make them a monthly subscription (and just leave it out there) for these cheap S&S items. I would always just cancel the future/ongoing deliveries, but "skip delivery" is smart. Thanks for sharing!

Except those pesky little "taxes" that gets added on.
It was almost over $1 which would've made it a deal breaker for me.

Did Amazon change the way they do subscribe and save? Every time I try to make a S&S order lately, it'll try to make me checkout for me for immediate shipping instead, and then offering the discount for a subscription order 6 months down the line. Anyone else having this issue?

My 5 that are about a $1 each or less are Herdez Red, Herdez Green, Amazon Diced Tomatoes, Amazon BBQ sauce, and Amazon tomato sauce. I usually end up skipping 3-5 each month.

Just experienced this too. Might be because I recently cancelled/deleted all my "old" active S&S subscriptions, so I no longer had any "active" S&S.

Anyway, I just placed 1 S&S order for immediate delivery, then went to settings & changed my monthly S&S delivery day.

Waited a bit and any new S&S orders seem to be based on the newly changed delivery day instead of immediate delivery.

No sure if it was just a coincidence, though.

Throw these in instantpot or slow cooker with meat of your choice + any other seasoning and you got some good guisado meat. You literally cant mess this up
