Not worth the hassle. I signed up for their iPhone business deal in November, and long story about incorrect activation/plan/etc problems that took a month to resolve aside, the thing that was most annoying was as a business customer, your account is flagged in a special way, no customer service person will assist you no matter how general, so you are always passed off to the business specialists.

But the business group closes super early. 5pm and closed weekends! So good luck if you need them on a weekend. And to make it worse yet, regular customer service still won't talk to you on a weekend, so they pass you off to some outsourced business group in India, which—and I'm not exaggerating—always had a hold time greater than 1 hour, one Sunday was over 3.5 hours, and I was hung up on when they answered. Chat help has the same issue! Only specialists will interact with you, they are never available…

The outsourced groups also have no information about anything and whatever notes or cases they submit go into a paper shredder or void, or they just pretend to mash their keyboard, because the business specialists never seemed to see or confirm any contact with this mysterious group whose sole job seems to be to only waste people's time.

I have never had a problem with regular Tmobile customer service in prior terms with them and had to cancel, and I was happy to despite all the fees, and charges I incurred with that terrible mistake.

If I ever go back to Tmobile, and that's a BIG IF, I will only sign up for their regular service.

Wonder if this works under One plans, or is Magenta or newer plan required?

EDIT: Never mind, says its only for the new Unlimited Ultimate plan. Would cost me an extra 100/month to switch for not much benefit in my use case.

When the T-Mobile account is opened under the name of a company (big corp all the way down to single-owner small business, but using an EIN, not your SSN)

EDIT: Cgigate just commented that apparently they will give business accounts to people under just their SSN. This was far from my experience when I opened mine 10+ years ago, but things might have changed since then. In any case, at minimum it's ymmv.

I assume the phone is locked but will work on a personal tmobile plan immediately. What will happen if I stop paying on the business plan?
It seems this deal is with monthly bill credits, so you'd wind up owing the unpaid device balance.

would have been great if I wasn't grandfathered in the One All In plan with 3 lines max.

The corporation would owe the unpaid device balance. I'm wondering if it would affect the business credit score?

Yeah, I can kinda agree on the phone help being hit or miss. Been with them for 10+ years I think and the phone hours for business specific stuff are limited, but I've only had to deal with customer service a handful of times so no biggie. My advice to those with business is to go to a corporate owned store if you ever need anything. They know how to not mess up your previous promotions and whatnot. Next trick is to talk to the T-force group on twitter when you need help or have trouble getting a promotion. Apparently they have access to everything and go out if their way to get make things work. I'm kind of bummed out that Tmo is no longer as generous as it used to be when they were giving out free lines left and right and just about every flagship phone had a bogo offer at some point. Now it's all trade-in required, bill credits, with extra line needed nonsense. My last phone, I bought it cash elsewhere since there was zero incentive to get it from them for more. Unfortunately, I don't see anything better available elsewhere for me. I'd go with an MVNO but I need topnotch roaming and data/call priority for my work so need to be with a big name carrier. So I shouldn't be complaining really.

I am potentially going to walk into a TMo corp store and open a brand new business account + 4-5 business lines. Are there any other incentives/referrals that I can use?

I chatted online, they aren't aware that the iphone 14 on us also applies to max. Is this in store deal only?
Honestly not sure. When I was in-store yesterday, he said it did, but I opted for two 'regular' Pro's.

Sorry to hear you've had these issues. I've been redirected to the business group a time or two (and they def have more limited hours), but usually I just use chat and the regular T-Mo 'experts' can do anything I need. In fact I messaged them first the other day to see if I had any free lines available, and that's when I first learned about the BOGO line offer.

Can't say I agree with this. I'm quite sure the deals are better on the business side, though I obviously understand why this is your stance.

Have you ever tried chat to see if the non business side can help you? Not sure why I so rarely get routed to the business dept.

My additional line is $10/mo up to 25 linea, but this promo required me to change tier to $30/mo. It's not worth if you have grandfather plan

Nah, I rarely need anything from them. Usually it has been trying to get a promo or another and the odd occasion where I had something more difficult (say a free line credit or a rebate not kicking in), the tforce people get it done in no time. I also remember a few years back I'd get emails from a "concierge " for business customers and they'd have exclusive deals and you call that person as a direct contact for questions or changes. But again, I just kind of set it and forget it and am on cruise control right now.

Oh yeah, I remember once getting that concierge thing, too.

I say this often, having a business (even a small business, it def doesn't have to be big) is like a cheat code for so many categories of things you need in your daily life, can write off, find tax advantages, etc. Now obviously running a small business is hard, but life's hard.

We currently have eight lines, two Apple Watches, and two 5G hotspot lines, and it's such a great deal. Now, I've never broken a phone and been in a bind or anything like that, I'm careful with my stuff and only upgrade to new stuff when there's a sufficiently good offer.

I feel a little gluttonous at this point, I only needed the one iPhone 14 for my son, but heck, for a one-time charge of $129 I get another one and service? Why not?

I currently have 2 tablet lines $10/mo each from the business deal a while ago.

Could I get this deal and not lose these lines?

Also, what exactly are you paying the $100+ one-time charges? Is the activation that expensive?

I'm on business $10/line simple choice. Any deals at all for me? I think it pay $120 + tax for 6 lines for my business.
