Honestly, I don't like the ones without the plastic wings on the bottom piece that snap into the top lid. Much less secure and much more prone to deformation, in my experience.
I actually own all three. The totally clear ones I got 40 of when they were about 50cents each, before the pandemic at Walmart. very flimsy and lid will pop out easily.
Then I got the Gray lid ones, 20 of them but 1/2 were delivered to me used by my local Walmart. These lids stay on better and easy to stack.
Then I saw the Costco ones by IRIS for original price of about $10. I grabbed some and more when they are on sale for $8. They are much, much better. These are hard plastic with good grip handles and locks. Great for stacking and very durable.

Have you seen the larger ones Costco used to sell? I have a bunch of them scattered around my house I bought, maybe, 7 years ago? I think they're a really fantastic size. I have a bunch of stuff I'd love to move from crappy cardboard boxes into stronger plastic containers.

I have these and they're super cheap material! Honestly IMO I would not buy them or recommend then. The kids crack super easy, they're flimsy. It's much more worth buying a sterlite brand for the extra money. Just a fair warning!

I have a bunch of printouts and loose papers that I prefer keeping in these clear boxes instead of file folders etc. The OP Mainstays and the Sterilite ones are just a leeetle too narrow for 8.5x11" sheets, while the 12qt Costco ones are too big (stuff slides around).
I had found it in store. They had a huge pallet full sitting out. I *think* the price ended in .97, so it would have been clearance. Probably worth calling local stores to see what they have on hand and their pricing.

If only they made them just a little bit wider!
