Promotional Offer Details
https://www.spectrum.co
Offer Valid 02/01/2023 - 06/30/2023. Get $600 off when you trade-in and purchase a Samsung Galaxy S23 Series device, plus additional trade-in value based on the condition of your device. Restrictions apply. Spectrum Internet required. Auto-pay required. Visit spectrum.com/mobile/tradein for details.
Trade-in Criteria: As long as your trade-in is worth $1, the $600 promo will apply during the trade-in credit check.
1. Is the device free of major physical damage? No is okay. Don't push your luck here too much, don't try to trade-in 80% of a phone or something that been ran over twice by a car.
2. Does the device have a functional screen that is free of cracks and other damage? No is okay
3. Is the device free from liquid damage? Yes is mandatory
4. Does the device power on? Yes is mandatory
Trade-in IMEIs: When testing to see if your phone is accepted for trade-in, any random fingermashed IMEI can be used as long as it starts with a 3. If you want to double check, 356742465815274 is a random IMEI that works. (Not true, just had this method show my phone as rejected when it DID accept the real IMEI)
Trade-in phone: The list of accepted phones differ between carriers, so if you don't find your phone on the list, check the original or "other" carrier. Also, the link of accepted Samsung phones is huge (may be all A, S, and Note series), even some international only models are accepted.

I did this promotion 2 months ago. Traded in my Note 9 for $27 and Iphone 8 plus for $12. Note 9 was the oldest they will take back then and so was the iPhone 8. I had a Note 4 that didn't qualify. I had to buy the IPhone 8 for $90 to do the trade in.
I went in the store and paid in full for S23 Ultra and S23. Contrary to FatGuyPoolShark, I like many people, had to send in our trade-in to Assurant. You'll be lucky if the store accept your trade in. It has to be sent in.
Anyways, I have Spectrum internet. There was a promotion of buy one unlimited line for $29.99 and you'll get one line free. For those that didn't get this promotion in their email, ASK THE REP at the store if you can get that promo. Chances are, they'll say yes.
I was able to unlock my 2 phones within one week. I called and asked if they could unlock them and the agent unlocked them while I was on the phone with her. You might want to say you're traveling and needed them unlock.
Assurance emailed me and says my phones were accepted as trade-ins. But instead of $27 for my Note 9, they only going to pay me $15 reason being it was late. It wasn't late, as they received it within the 30 days required to mail in.
I have a credit of $1227 with Spectrum right now. I'm too busy to call and ask them to credit them back to my credit card. It shouldn't be a problem though.
Feel free to ask any questions if need to.

1. Works with line upgrade
2. Requires activation (if existing line, line will be activated on new phone via eSIM)
3. Cannot unlock in store, must call a phone number to unlock after purchase
Rep was about to start trade-in process when I stopped him because I didn't want to activate phone; am only interested in gifting or reselling the phone. I'm guessing I could have done trade-in in-store, though my phone is pretty busted and I didn't go through trade-in process to see if it would have been accepted.
I probably could've started a new line and cancel line immediately but honestly the hassle is a turn off. I mainly just want to trade-in S22U for S23U so I'm waiting for a better deal again (like the enhanced TIV + $100 off on samsung.com last June)
You can check it yourself.. just put any IMEI to test it..
basically trade-in value + $600
my Galaxy S6 Edge is $4 + $600.
Pixel 7 is $245 + $600 ( really tempting since Pixel 7 Value drops so much ).
Taxes $799x.0775 = $62
Phone plan $30
Phone 799-635 = $165
$257 for 1 phone and 2nd is $227.
Hmmmm
