Anyone find a solution for the issue in store purchase got error saying "customer must place order online only ".
After this error last week it worked only once, I tried at least 5 times in different stores no success. This is my second upgrade.
are you going to do the mail in trade in route since possibly our account is probably flagged?

or has anyone done the mail in route when the in store option is not available? would like to know others full experience when doing the mail in route.

Question for those that are trading in store.

Does the device that is being traded in have to be the phone that is active on currently? For example, if I have an S22 with spectrum service and I want to upgrade that line, can I just trade in an iPhone 8 that I have as a spare instead of my S22? I know we can do that online, but I'm not sure if that's possible in person.
Yes, you can trade in your iPhone 8. If they ask, your S22 went for a swim, fell off a bus, kids played hockey with it, or any other reason why they wouldn't want it.

I tried inserting my active spectrum sim into the iPhone but it won't even get signal on it. Are spectrum sims locked to the device it's activated on kind of like Verizon?
Spectrum is MVNO of Verizon. Same policies about SIM hotswapping. Some SDers are adamant that SIM hotswapping works, but the official policy is no and it messed up your account in the backend. You can swap the device online yourself using the BYOD portal and keep the sim, takes under 5 mins.

Also, anyone know how long this deal is going to last?

Usually, once the trade in is confirmed, it should be fine as long as it's the same device that you sent in.
It's been delivered to them over the weekend, waiting for the verdict.LMAO

I am not going to do that. I don't want to pay tax on full price instead of zero, also don't want to take risk with flagged.

Anyone knows Spectrum store at southern CA takes trade in in-store?
The Spectrum store inside the Montclair Mall 91763 took my S4 and Note 4 as trade in this past weekend. No need to mail in like before. Had to pay tax on the full price still.

See the post below yours. Trade 1: Broken S8+ for S23, get $600 credit. Trade 2 (wait a while): Trade S23 for S23u, get $1000 credit.

Swollen battery or any other uncertain issues, trade-in instore. If they accept it, deal's done.
Spectrum adjusted the trade-in from $15 to $4 with the $600 promo = $604

Verified mail-in cracked, and swollen battery separating case was accepted!!!

Ty Ty!

That's one less dead device sitting dangerously in my home.

If it doesn't, that defeats the whole purpose of unlocking a phone

Did you upgrade s23 to ultra and new s23 phones. Or you just took all 6 s23's?
