Need to create a free bestbuy.com account to see the $208.99 price for the 4TB (which just dropped.. I've been watching it like a hawk), but the other prices should be visible even if you don't create an account first.

2.5-inch SATA III Solid State Drive (SSD).

Yes it has DRAM. Yes it's TLC and not QLC. So it's fast and durable from a top-tier flash (NAND memory) maker. Free shipping or free local store pickup.

Generally accepted as the 3rd best SSD in this form factor barely behind the Samsung 860 EVO and 870 EVO.

Yes, it has DRAM. It's a great drive if you need a 2.5" SSD.
Yes, the new 4TB MX500 is actually using QLC to screw up buyer
if you have the open NVME slot go with that instead, smaller, no cables, and faster. Sometime even has the same storage chips (but different controller chips)

Yes absolutely if there's a NVME slot. I opted to use NVME enclosure for more future proofing and it came out to be ~$85 for 2TB Drive and enclosure that will get me 850MBytes/s transfer speed.

But this is great for people who don't have NVME slot and still wants a ton of storage.
