    It seems the $100 off manufacturer rebate has been extended to June 11, 3023.
    This is good news for those who want one but missed the May 22 rebate deadline.

    For glass windows with a screen on the outside, do we have to remove the screen for the exhaust tube or can we just leave the screen as is on the outside layer?

    I've hooked this unit up to an anker 767 power station. Color me impressed. At it's peak it pulled 1.2kw for about 20 mins and it then settled into a range of 180-480w. I've been running it on the base 2kw hour battery. It's been running for 3 hours with another 2-3 ish to go.

    Purchase yesterday in Houston , hooked it up, very happy. It is so quiet and powerful, perfect timing for 100 degree week. Feel like a good deal/good decision since buying it from Costco, last year I bought a refurbish Toshiba from Woot almost same price, it looks horrible, fan doesn't work, had to lugged it to UPS to return.

    Just want to remind those people who bought in store (or online) for $389.99 after $100 manufacturer's rebate, Costco increased the rebate to $120, with the effective price being $369.99 ($20 cheaper). I was able to have $20 credited back.
