Did some Makita battery shopping this morning for some 3ah batteries, but ended up with this product. $/ah seems like a good deal on this product compared to the other sizes. Only compared against big box stores. Amazon and Ebay will be cheaper but I've heard there are a lot of knock offs out there.

Personally, for this price I'd rather wait on a sale that has a tool + free batteries. I've about 14 or so batteries and have never bought them individually.

That said, if you need batteries now, this isn't too bad for a battery only deal.

Definitely would've waited a few days as someone always seems to have this with a free tool, on sale.

Haha agreed. I don't even know why I own a Makita chainsaw when I've never used one before or doing anything related to one. Tool is an expensive addiction for men.
