Not wrong.

But, gotta tell ya, I bought one of these about 5 years ago and love it. No carb issues. No gas. No oil. Starts up every time. Light, quiet. Have blower, weed thing, and hedge clippers that all use the same batteries.

So, you'd rather have to go to a store and buy a brand new mower every year, for five years, and just 'throw away' the old one, instead of using a single mower until it's actually dead? This, in addition to having to deal with oil changes and gas?

Yup -- sounds like a great alternative to me...

Meanwhile, I did have to replace a $15 plastic part on my 4 year old Ryobi mower (purchased 4/2019) this year, and other than blade sharpening (which I do at home), have had to do nothing else to it. Paid $329 for the mower, battery, and charger.

It's been raining so much lately, my grass has exploded. My last mow was through ~8" grass, and the mower had zero issues with it, even while using 4 year old batteries. I don't think your "I could go and buy a $100 gas mower every year for 5 years" is the flex you think it is.

Don't get me wrong -- I don't see anything wrong with folks choosing to use gas powered yard equipment. The US is a free country. What I do have a problem with is folks crapping on a product they've obviously not experienced, complete with a whole bunch of made up excuses.

Years and years with regular maintenance and driving to the gas station for gas.

Why people sound like Gas mower really bad.
Mine is Brigg Stratton engine started each pull, fill gas 1 time every 2 week, cutting each week, oil change every 2 year, take forever to use up 2 Gal of gas, haven't changed spark or anything since 8+ years, no winterize (no winterize for Hitachi trimmer and blower too), I want it to break but that sucker keep running.

Edit: I don't have too much drama with the gas lawn equipments, some time I want to switch to electric tools but wife blowing her lips when I mentioned about it.

No one is saying gas mowers are bad, but literally everything you just listed doing, you don't have to do with these electric mowers. And you can get a trimmer and blower that uses these same batteries with also zero maintenance. Not to mention are quieter than the gas versions.

This mower has some really good reviews. I'm thinking about it.
Looks like blower comes with 2x 4 amp batteries. The trimmer with 1 6amp battery.

But the electric mower need to condition the batteries, can't leave them in the garage, potential they will crapped out in 4 years...

Why can't you leave them in the garage? That's where I keep mine. The only reason you couldn't leave them in the garage is if your garage reached extreme temperatures on a regular basis. My garage isn't insulated but is attached to my home and I've never had any issues. I could see a small shed maybe having problems but not an attached garage. Also I live in Texas for reference where summers are regularly above 100° and again, my batteries are still going strong. I'll choose replacing a battery after "possibly 4" years over dealing with oil changes, shuttling gasoline, and cleaning carburetors any day.

After using an ego electric lawn mower, I'm never going back to gas.

Quiet
Zero maintenance
No fumes
No running to gas station
No more smelling like gas
Instant startup everytime
You got me on the quiet part but you still have to sharpen the blade. My 15yo Toro starts every time and can cut through 7" grass. I never smell like gas unless I shower in it. A 5gallon gas can last me pretty much 1 year and more on .30 acre. I'll keep my gas mower.

Did anyone try to return the mower and keep the free items?

In the winter, take your batteries inside. Or double insulate with a carrying case.

I have a $100 brand new gas mower. Starts up every time. No fumes. I never smell like gas. If it gives me a headache I can simply buy 5 more for the same price as your ego. Lol. Batteries in a couple of years on the ego will diminish and your blades will either need sharpening or replacement like any other mower. So don't say no maintenance bc it's bs. Less maintenance but at a 500% price difference with less power.

Maannnnn, $800 will buy you an awfully nice gas mower, that would last years and years.
I have had my Ryobi electric mower for 8+ years, still going strong. I like gas mowers too, but it's so wonderful to be able to mow at 6 in the morning and not bother my neighbors.
