Use SAVE10 on WD website to drop price to 270, then 10% CB available.

WD RED drives give a warning in Synology using WDDA (Western Digital Device Analytics) to be replaced if the power on hours is more than 3 years.
Can I rebuild a RAID after failure if the replacement drive has warnings?

I wonder if they are just basing that on the warranty period or perhaps some sort of statistical survey? I've had drives running for 7 years with no problem. I just replace them when I run out of space or have actual malfunction errors.
