My experience is that they ship it much sooner than that though. Kinda like how Amazon is overly cautious with their delivery dates, but then they usually end up shipping the product out days (if not weeks) earlier.

You more than likely won't be able to use this before the sale ends since the whole process usually takes around a week, but it's good to have for any future deals.

Correct, this looks like a typo. WD spec sheet shows the WD181KFGX model with 512MB cache

Ugh just bought a bunch of 18TB easystore drives to upgrade the NAS storage pool and finished stress testing my last one this morning. Have already integrated 3 of them into my NAS. As much as I'd want to go back and get true Red drives and save an additional $30 per drive on what I paid, I do not want to start the process of testing and repairing the storage pool all over again. I did not think these would be on sale for Prime Day. You live and you learn.
