But ya let's keep just thinking inflation and covid justify price of technology 4 years old....
You'd be a fool to buy this at this price.
I review projectors for a couple publications and have seen everything from cheap DLPs to the Christie Eclipse. At this projector's MSRP it is still the best value in front projection out there.

I heard on avsforums that newer lamp model upgrade will be announced in fall. I placed an order for 5050 but wondering to keep it or wait for fall? What is your recommendation? I don't like spending 4000 or 5000 to get laser projectors. Main usage is movies and tv shows in the bedroom. Love to have 3d.
