I'm running this setup on a 48" C1, and I don't recommend it for everyday use. It's way too bright to sit in front of it even if brightness is on the lowest setting. It's also very annoying that windows automatically adjust the window size after waking up from hibernation. Get an actual monitor for your PC folks.

The 1-year warranty with no burn in coverage on this is pretty disappointing, compared to Dell/Alienware's 3 year w/ burn in coverage on the AW3423DWF.

Infinite contrast and perfect blacks, perfect motion clarity, zero light bleed, etc.

4K ain't everything.

Any comments on this monitor for less gaming and more productivity and watching videos?

At this price I would buy a 42" LG OLED C2. You can run it in ultrawide mode for gaming and full screen for TV

There's always something about to come out. Might as well buy now if you need

I thought about this but I have an Nvidia card and although it's compatible with adaptive sync it's not preferred right?

I'm on the fence too. But there are rumors and the recent price decreases make me think it's coming sooner then later. Looks like an awesome monitor for most people but might have some quality issues. Qd oled is kinda a new tech so there might be some hiccups. If Samsung gave a 3 yr warranty for burn in it's a no brained but only 1 year. Usually burn in shows between year 1 and 2

Text clarity is the biggest problem with these since it uses a different pixel layout than other screen technologies. If it's a dedicated gaming monitor then it's fantastic.

But it's not curved...and GL fitting that tall thing on a desk if you don't have height clearance
