Product Name: | MSI RTX 3060 Ti VENTUS 2X 8G OCV1 LHR Overview |
Product Description: | Based on the Ampere architecture and designed to handle the graphical demands of 1080p at high frame rates as well as 1440p gaming, the MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti VENTUS 2X OCV1 LHR LHR Graphics Card brings the power of real-time ray tracing and AI to your PC games. The GPU features 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM and a 256-bit memory interface, offering improved performance and power efficiency over the previous Turing-based generation. This graphics card is the LHR (Lite Hash Rate) version and delivers an estimated ETH Hash Rate. The value of the Hash Rate may vary depending on your PC hardware specifications, quality of your internet connection, and/or other factors. The front panel of the card features a variety of outputs, such as DisplayPort 1.4a and HDMI 2.1. HDMI 2.1 supports up to 48 Gb/s bandwidth and a range of higher resolutions and refresh rates, including 8K at 60 fps, 4K at 120 fps, and even up to 10K. The RTX 3060 Ti is not just about high-resolution gaming. Computationally intensive programs can utilize the GPU's 4864 cores to accelerate tasks using CUDA and other APIs. For cooling, MSI implemented dual TORX 3.0 fans, which maximize downwards airflow and air dispersion to the heat sink below them. |

I was all set for a 3060 and TH forum essentially talked me out of it. Very happy to far. RT in the games I have and wanted to try it with still exceed my 1080p/60 Hz monitor so it doesn't much matter if the 3060 (or Ti) would do better in RT.
Another very good options is buying a used RTX 3070 for $299 buy it now off eBay which there is stock of right now as I type this. That's another great option. And worrying about getting a mined RTX 3070 is not a real danger as the RTX 3070's ran very cool and did not need high voltages. They are very safe to buy. And chances are, you would not get one besides.
That was an annoying experience

Saving is more important to me. If you already have a decent GPU, even more so.
if you want the card and you'll get enjoyment out of it, get it. If the enjoyment is marginal compared to what you already have, then that's up to you. Just keep in mind the future isn't given
