This is the card I've had in my Steam Deck since launch. Never installed anything on the actual Steam Deck and never had an issue.

But isn't the "SAMSUNG PRO Plus" a better deal for just $3 more? Faster write speed... what am I missing here?

I don't think they're the same. The Pro says speeds of 160mb/sec. This one says 130. And the Pro MSRP is much higher... yet this deal seems to be getting more attention Confused

I needed a fat SD card for 4k GoPro video, the PRO has faster transfer rates so I'm getting that one.
After our Hawaii trip I'll drop all my FLAC files onto the card and leave it in the car radio.

Legit question I don't know the answer to: does the slower one have better reliability and durability for rewrites?

Yeah, for some reason Samsung advertises the EVO select suitable for "gaming" while the PRO doesn't. And the customer reviews seem to mention the Nintendo Switch has some issues with the PRO vs EVO.

When I checked more closely, the PRO states 160 read speed but write speed claims 120 MB/sec. And for the EVO, they just advertise it as 130 MB max. Theoretically, I guess it's not that much of a difference and only a few dollars difference as well...

I was thinking of canceling the EVO and get the PRO, but I guess I'm fine with the EVO.

Bought one to resurrect my PS Vita and start downloading. Still ticked Sony didn't support the Vita much and even worse charging an insane price for memory cards. PS2Vita adapters took care of that.

Actually, the EVO says "Read : up to 130MB/s Write : Lower than Read Speed" and then gives the usual speeds may vary depending on the device... Since they don't specify write speeds, they likely are no more than 120MB/s. Stick with the Pro if faster speeds are important to you.

For video or drone footage, go for the SanDisk Extreme Pro with a blazing 140MB/s write speed. But if you're snapping photos or enjoying some tunes, lower speeds will do the trick.

Pro Plus has a guaranteed write speed up to 130MB/S. The other lines only up to 30MB/S.
