Exactly, I bought it November 2021 for $499+tax without tablet . I felt shame when I see this deal as a senior in slickdeals 🤪
Now I'm really upset because I could have gotten it a little cheaper, even back then. I don't even use it as much as I want to. That's going to change because I'll be damned if I don't get my moneys worth now! Speaking as a slickdeals vet, myself!
Oh well, you win some, lose some!
I also own the upgraded Costco version (bigger screen and a few other upgrades). It's been awesome with peloton but it takes persistence and better-than-basic technical abilities to "hack it" to use Peloton, Netflix, etc…
This has been a game changer for me and my wife in that we actually have stuck with exercising on it about 5x a week since Christmas. I never have done that before and was surprised at how much I enjoy Peloton with this bike
The big bummer is we exclusively use Peloton with it and the price is going from $13 a month to about $20ish a month for the same thing. I'm willing to pay the increase because I think the echelon quality is just much worse than Peloton.
WIth you 100%--I had no idea how much I was going to enjoy Peloton content until I actually got to try it out and it helps me feel so much more motivated to actually get on the bike. Game changer.
yes but you need to use an app called qdomyos-zwift.
Is there a way we can change the resistance through app or Bluetooth. I got this bike but even after installing qdomyos app it just shows the current stats.
I wish there is an option to launch a program which auto scales the resistance hi/lo to exercise rather than manually changing the resistance knob. Thanks!
Definitely worth it after hacking it to use the peloton app. A better platform for half the cost on subscription
Fyi, peloton will double in price in December, maybe earlier if you're new. Still better and cheaper than echelon l though. I have another echelon me use the app QZ to use it with the peloton appz guessing you do the same

There is. You can have auto resistance with QZ or you can set the volume buttons on your phone or tablet to change resistance.
However, I don't know if that works on a model that already has a built in screen like this one.

Not available in this model, Bluetooth resistance control might work with these models: EX4s, EX4s+, EX5s, EX7s, EX8s, EX PRO
I've never owned or even used an exercise bike. I find myself getting older and in need of getting in better shape. Is this a worthwhile model? I'm genuinely interested but totally clueless to the entire scene lol

Any exercise is good if you can do it regularly. I would recommend you to check out 30 days free trial of " dailyburn" . They have many type of exercises and keep you out from boring. Most people will buy the bike as a cloth hanger.
