Have had since January.
I've lost 50+lb and wife has lost around 30lb. Do about 10 miles a day in 30 minutes at a 20 resistance setting. That and eating better, we've trimmed up quite a bit.
I really enjoy it BUT the belt does make an annoying tapping noise that usually goes away after the first mile.
At $300 it's a no brainer.
No auto resistance if that's your thing. I have the Connect 3 and paired it with a $7/month peloton student membership. Unfortunately Peloton will be nerfing their app memberships at the end of the year.
I've never owned or even used an exercise bike. I find myself getting older and in need of getting in better shape. Is this a worthwhile model? I'm genuinely interested but totally clueless to the entire scene lol
For this price.... Yes, definitely. You don't need to use dmh monthly subscriptions to just ride and manually set the resistance with a knob as you go. You have to pay extra for memberships to get the guided rides and partake in scheduled daily rides, etc.
This bike won't automatically adjust resistance to emulate hills and stuff so you doing manually if you want to ss you ride. These are well built machines. They have handlebar height adjustment, seat height and seat forward/back adjustments and comes with pedals that have cages on them. I don't think this bike comes from the factory with dual function pedals like some of their other bikes do.

Does the seat move back on its own? I bought a no name brand one off of amazon and the seat moves back on its own and it just makes the whole experience very uncomfortable and scary.

No. It's securely held in place with a large hand screw.
Similar story as many others. Bought in January. Modded tablet and riding with Qmodo and Peloton. 20lbs down. Tried the echelon app for a month, definitely not worth. Disappointed in Peloton price increase but will probably pay it.
Bike still in great shape, the hardware is really quality for the money.

Anyone looking to use this with Peloton, be weary of the new plans and price increase. I own this bike and was using Youtube Vanced, but that got shut down, so now I basically don't use the connected tablet.
Youtube vanced is still working perfectly fine for me
