There are some non-tomato options as well that qualify for coupon.
I went with the canned mangoes. With 25% off, it's a great price. I make mango lassis with it, just add some yogurt, maybe some spices and blend (no sugar needed because syrup is sweet). IMO makes a great lassi, although my indian friends would probably disagree
Note that there is a huge difference between San Marzano tomatoes and San Marzano Style tomatoes.
Not enough for most people to care especially at some price points. Out of all the Marzano style products (including Muir Glen) I found these to be quite acceptable.
The can says 100% Roma tomatoes. Where do you get that they are trying to impose as San Marzanos?
Edit
I see now for the other items in this deal. Not a big deal for many people. It's like the difference between Champagne and sparkling wine.
thats not at all true. Im far from a foodie and i wouldnt say i have a "refined pallate", but i can easily taste the difference between real san marzanos and imitations when used in things like pizza sauce. i dont care so much for making spaghetti because im loading it with all sorts of other ingredients... but for quality pizza which doesnt have a lot in it outside of the sauce? definitely.
Just looked wally brand of 14.5oz diced is 88c a can. This is 82.5c per can and arguably better quality. For anyone looking check your local dollar tree I often find Muir Glen organics tomatoes in cans for 2/$1.25.
I can my own tomatoes too but as someone who went 6+ weeks with no power and about 6 months with limited facilities, thanks to back to back hurricaines.. it never hurts to have extra canned or pouched food.
You must be here in Florida too if you are referring to last year, Ian and Nicole.
