The thing I find off-putting about Greenworks is they can't seem to decide on a voltage platform. They have/had 40V, 60V, 80V and now 2x24V outdoor tools. Pick a battery platform, Greenworks, and stick with it.
I feel like greenworks is pushing on sd. Let me add this

greenworks customer service and warranty sucks. I had an 80v snow blower. Worked for 10 minutes then spent 1.5 years (not joking) In a repair shop waiting for parts. This was pre COVID. Terrible terrible. I have an 80v battery that wont work now (charge). It's 3 years old so I'm sol. Stay away. Buyer beware etc

Dang! Nice deal on that 24V mower. I would buy but all of my Greenworks tools are 40V.

Does Greenworks make a power station where their batteries can be plugged into?

Yes, however some of the reviews indicate that the output power is dirty for items running off of it. As in noticable hiccups in the running device that is different than when it's getting electricity from a better supply; wall outlet or better invertor or generator.

I've been tempted to get this one for the 3 batteries I have, but haven't jumped on it yet because of said output quality.

I'm not sure what's the deal with this battery option. What are they gonna do next come out with 30, 40 and 160v?

Confused by this option.

I got a similar deal on the 80v with 2, 2ah batteries last father's day. That definitely seems better and more utilitarian; as I've not seen this battery option before with their other tools.

I was thinking of units able to use more than one battery at the same time.

I second, their customer service sucks. They are short on repairs and replacement, takes forever. Also, they don't last long as you would expect.
I thought of buying an 80V edger (since I already have 80v batteries) but it has been OOS forever. It speaks about their factory/supply chain problems.

The largest tool selection GW has is in their 24V battery line so embracing that voltage should give you the most options. I can't speak to how well hungry lawn equipment (like lawn mowers, etc) would work with 24V (or 2x 24V). I have a 80V lawn mower and snow blower. My understanding is that GW is decent at those. I don't know anything about GW hand tools nor how they rank against upper tier (Milwaukee, Makita, Dewalt), mid-tier (RIGID or Ryobi). GW is carried by Costco which will give you a really good warranty and return policy on batteries and tools.

One of the reasons I've stuck with an 87 octane platform for this particular yard tool. 😁

If you really want to be in the 24V universe, this is a good mower, but if you're just choosing I would get one of the single battery units in the 40V-60V-80V collection. Fewer points of failure.

They already have a 40V option. I like it. Better than using 2 batteries, less points of failures.
