I could hang a lot of clothes on that thing.
I bought Elegainz rack back in Feb for $170. I think Hulkfit, Balance Form, and Elegainz are pretty much the same product just different branding? https://slickdeals.net/f/16392949-elegainz-power-cage-1000lb-capacity-with-j-hooks-and-safety-spotte...

Here's my honest take after 4 months of use:

- This rack is sturdy enough for pull-up, but it may wobble a bit. Will notice much more when doing dips. Some people recommend installing the pull-up bar on the inside of the rack to prevent possible tilting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkzZwFMHQxM
Additionally, I recommend getting some 3/8" washers as suggested by another user on the Elegainz post
- Can buy accessories from Hulkfit, Balance Form, and Elegainz to work for this. I bought some Hulkfit weight plate holder
- Expect paint chipping
- Overall good budget, nothing much to dislike about it.
- Added the lat pulldown as well. Same price from Feb. Notice cage is Elegainz and lat attachment is Balance Form but compatible: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Balanc.../725090507
This will look great in the middle of my living room!

This rack looks very questionable from youtube reviews.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXqE9T0wOs8

The video shows this rack vertically actually failing and bending under shock load drop. The progear/fitness reality apparently use much thicker gauge steel than this one. This budget option advertises but I would not trust the 1000lb loading factor on this one. Usually the 1000lb should have positive safety factors on it.. but from the test, it failed (steel tube yielding) even at less than that weight.

Go to Home Depot and purchase 2 stainless steel screw eyes (thicker/bigger the better), 2 black ratcheting straps and then actual wood rings from Amazon. Mount them to any ceiling studs.

I have those in my home gym and they're awesome.. plus cost less than $50 all in, which is better than any TRX or whatever system out there with the versatility of unlimited widths, as well as length, and hand positions / angles. Plus it doesn't take up floor space.

Edit: just checked amazon and you can get rings with the straps already, so all you would need are the screw eyes. Easy peasy.

Is there any way to do leg raises or add leg raise attachments? I've seen a lot of those cheap $120 pullup bars with dip and leg raise features.

Thanks for this. Can you please share the link of the Hulkfit weight plate holder? I saw it on Amazon but it said it was for 2.35 inch cages. This BalanceFrom cage uses 2.5 inch columns no?

Put mine together yesterday. Box showed up very dinged up, but no missing parts or evident broken pieces. Called up Walmart prior to opening and they gave me a 10% refund for "my troubles." Very slick! I followed another user's advice & put washers between the bolts and the metal plates + the nuts and the metal plates. I have several washers left over from the 100 that I bought if anyone is interested...

Anyone have issues with slightly different sized bolts? Some bolts seem slightly longer than others; the specs from the instructions said all bolts should be same size(???).

Also, getting alignment on the top pieces was very difficult! Did anyone else have the same experience?

Is anyone else missing the safety bars? I don't even see them in the instructions, but they're clearly there on Walmart's website

I know it's a longshot, but anyone have any alternates for the PC-1 lat pulldown that is compatible with this cage? It seems as though the lat pulldowns designed for this cage are ALL sold out everywhere - including amazon (doesn't sell a compatible pulldown), walmart, ebay, etc. I can't think of anywhere else to look so I'm down to alternatives which there doesn't seem to be any!

I'm pleading for suggestions! Please?

Update on my quest to purchase the lat pulldown. I believe I've tracked the manufacturer down in China. I'm going to try to order the pulldown attachment for myself. Does anyone else want to purchase one with me?
